Mr. Chien-Hua Chen is the founder and executive director of Blue Box Capital, an industry-leading securities and asset management firm specializing in cross-market relative value investments across multiple asset classes. Blue Box Capital is dedicated to providing innovative and efficient investment solutions tailored to the unique needs of private and institutional investors, with a focus on achieving long-term, stable wealth growth.

Prior to founding Blue Box Capital, Mr. Chen managed the flagship global macro fund at Substance Capital. In this role, he utilized advanced numerical modeling and macroeconomic analysis, combined with rigorous risk management practices, to construct robust investment portfolios that delivered stable and exceptional returns.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Chen served as senior strategist and Head of Quantitative Investment Strategies for the Asia-Pacific region at Lehman Brothers and Nomura Securities. During this time, he led the development and execution of cutting-edge cross-market and cross-asset quantitative strategies, providing strategic investment advice and asset allocation solutions to leading global financial institutions. Mr. Chen directed a world-class quantitative research team comprising PhDs and postdoctoral scholars from prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, and the University of California, Berkeley. The team specialized in designing and implementing advanced strategies across global markets - including rates, equities, bonds, foreign exchange, commodities, credit, and derivatives - demonstrating distinguished research and execution capabilities.

With a strong academic foundation in quantitative finance and macroeconomic analysis, paired with extensive experience navigating the dynamic and complex global macroeconomic landscape, Mr. Chen has become a trusted advisor for private investors, family offices, and institutional clients seeking sophisticated investment strategies and financial management solutions.
